Explore the characters of STAR WARS™ in this unique travelling exhibition.

Two heroes.

They share the same genes. They come from the same planet. So what makes them so different?

Follow Luke and Anakin Skywalker, cinema’s preeminent father and son duo, from their origins on Tatooine, to the friends and mentors they meet during adolescence, through the choices they make that will define them as adults.

A stunning collection of Star Wars costumes, models, props, and artwork allows you to see these two heroes and all the other unforgettable characters of Star Wars in a whole new way.

And at the same time, a unique interactive identity quest allows you to design your own Star Wars Hero, putting you in the center of the action, and asking...

What forces shape YOU?

Explore rare treasures from the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art

200 original costumes, props, models, and pieces of artwork are yours to discover up close at STAR WARS™ Identities.

There’s R2-D2, Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon and Anakin’s full-sized Podracer. Other favourites, like Yoda, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Princess Leia, stormtroopers, and Darth Vader, are also on display. As are many more treasures, including dozens of objects being exhibited for the first time.

Breathtaking face-to-face encounters with dozens of character costumes and props, as well as original artwork and models, will take you behind the scenes in the movie-making process.

The collection spans all six Star Wars movies as well as the ongoing television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars™.

Design your own Star Wars™ hero.

Who would you be if you were a character from Star Wars?

A Twi’lek bounty hunter? A Wookiee Jedi Knight? Or maybe an Ewok with fighter-pilot skills?

Here’s your chance to find out. Unleash your creativity as you build your personal and unique Star Wars Hero.

Visitors of all ages explore their own identities and learn about the forces that shape them in this exciting character design quest.

Equipped with a smart technology bracelet, every visitor is invited to respond to a series of identity questions at interactive stations throughout the exhibition. These character-design stations are interwoven seamlessly with the exhibition’s collection and scientific content and form the backbone of the exhibition experience.

Each answer given along the identity quest is one step in the creation of a complete character profile.

Visitors view the final result—their new and unique Star Wars character—for the first time at the end of the exhibition, and can request to receive a more detailed version of the character profile by email, which can then be consulted from home or shared using social media platforms.

STAR WARS Identities lädt Dich ein, Dich selbst zu entdecken. Wer bist Du? Woher kommst Du? Was macht Deine Identität aus?

Was machst du?

Wie verhältst du dich?

Was ist dir wichtig?

What is a Time Window Ticket?

Long waiting times at the entrance? Rushing through the exhibition? Are the rooms are too full? For your benefit, we want to avoid these circumstances so that you can have an unforgettable experience in the best possible sense. This is why we use so-called Time Window Tickets.

Every ticket is valid for a particular time window in which you will be admitted to the exhibition. You decide which time window your ticket is valid for yourself during the booking process (online, by telephone or at an advance sales point). Should you arrive earlier or later than your booked time slot, you may have to wait at the entrance. However, all purchased tickets of course retain their validity for the day booked. After admittance, the amount of time you spend in the exhibition is unlimited, within the opening hours. We recommend that you plan approximately two hours for your exhibition visit.
